MINISTRIES
Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church invites you to become an active participant in the activities of our church
by joining one of the following ministries.

Fellowship:
|
Responsible for planning and overseeing all fellowship activities including congregational dinners, luncheons, potluck dinners, after worship fellowship, excursions, outings and the Men's Breakfast. Responsible for the oversight of the Pictorial Church Directory and the New Member Bulletin Board.

|
Christian Education:
|
Responsible for the Christian nurture and spiritual development of all children, youth and adults of our church. Includes Sunday School, Nursery, Children's Church, Special Time with Young Disciples, Bible studies and the church library.

|
Outreach:
|
Responsible for promoting church growth, including, advertising, website and Facebook, direct mail, and signage. Responsible for attracting, identifying, and welcoming visitors. Responsible for assimilating new members. Responsible for overseeing relationships of Outreach Ministries to others, through the Sneads Ferry Soup Kitchen, Community-Wide Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Comfort Baskets, support of Patchwork Squares, Military Support, and involvement with area schools.

Pastoral Care:
|
Responsible for the pastoral care of church members including the Shepherding Program, the Prayer Chain, visitation and meals for the sick and grieving, and the volunteer drivers program.

|
Stewardship, Property and Finance :
|
Responsible for accounting, receiving and disbursing tithes, gifts and offerings. Responsible for stewardship education, annual budget preparation and the pledging process. Responsible for the oversight, care and maintenance of all church facilities, grounds and property.

|
Worship and Music:
|
Responsible for all aspects of corporate worship, including weddings, funerals and special services and seasons. The areas include music, liturgists, ushers and the Sacraments. Responsible for sanctuary decorations such as banners, candles, lilies, poinsettias and other flowers.
