Transportation Assistance - Provides transportation to church or to doctor's visits as needed. Contact Lottie Koenig at 910-389-4122.

Onslow Women's Center - The mission is to provide crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence through education and prevention. Servicies include a Safe House, 24 Hour Crisis Line (910-347-4000), Crisis Intervention, Hispanic Outreach, Court Advocacy, Hospital Advocacy, Support Groups, Volunteer Services, and a Thrift Store.

The Caring Community Clinic - Provides care for non-emergency illnesses such as vomiting, fever, earaches, sore throats, diarrhea, etc. Limited chronic medical care such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, etc. Eligibility requirements - for Onslow County residents with no medical care, private health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare. Ages 18-64 only. Migrant or seasonal workers and college students without financial support qualify. Must meet 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. Alcoholics Anonymous - A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcholism. For further information and meeting location see: www.aajacksonvillenc.org

Presbyterian Counseling Center - Professional Counseling Services that include: Individual Counseling, Couples Counseling, Family Therapy, Children and Adolescents, and Adult Psychiatric Medication Management. H2O: Hope 2 Offer/Help 2 Overcome - A local, faith based, not for profit, drug and alcohol rehabilitation program offered to men and women. H2O meets weekly on Thursdays at 6:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church. The evening includes supper, program and small groups. Confidentiality is required! Al-Anon Family Groups - A fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems, believing that alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. "A Family Love Letter" - Provides an outline of information re. financial affairs and end of life preferences for family members who may become caregivers and/or survivors. Click here for the letter.
